Good morning / afternoon everyone. When someone gives you negative or even unreasonable comments, what would you do? Well, maybe some people would let those criticisms bring them down. But, for Taylor Swift, she has another way to deal with that.
Swift said, “People can say whatever they want about us at any time and we cannot control that. The only thing we can control is our reaction to it.” So, she just chose to shake it off. That means we should not worry too much. Instead, we should hold our head high and be ourselves. As you can see that, “Shake It Off”is not just a song, but also her attitude.What she also believes in, is to evolve and take challenges from time to time. She started her career as a country singer. In her previous albums, she wrote most of the songs on her own. What’s more, a lot of them are worldwide hits, such as“You Belong With Me” and “Love Story”. Indeed, she is a talented songwriter. However, she then realised that she could not make the same album twice. She could not limit herself. She could not think too much about what genres her songs fall into. Therefore, she tried to collaborate with other songwriters and to make some new sounds. Songs like “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble” are great examples.
Taylor Swift really makes an effort to experiment some new music. As a person under spotlight, she would face pressures every step she takes. It is impossible for her not to care about what the critics will say, what the fans will think. But more importantly, she writes songs to express her feelings and let people relate to.She knows people who love her will support her all the way. Her music may change, but her faith will stay the same. That’s why she is true to herself and fearless to take risks.

It is a great honor and pleasure for me to be here. I love the technology. Great changes have taken place in our daily life with the constant progress of technologies.
Technology promotes the development of social productive forces and makes the rapid increase of social wealth. It allows us to overcome the time distance and spatial distance with technologies, which also let us contact with relatives and our friends no matter wherever you are. Technology can be seen everywhere in our daily life. You can use microwave ovens for food, which is really convenient and quick. We also could fly across the sea and the mountains in a short period of time by plane. There are beautiful scenery lines of high-rise buildings in cities. The advantages of the development of technology are obvious. People cant live without technologies.

Technology has revolutionized human routine, but the disadvantages are showed little by little. Technology has caused serious environmental pollution. When people are enjoying the convenience from technology, they live in a city with smoke. We have only one earth; it is our duty to protect its environment. It is worried that more and more persons commits a crime using the latest technology. Moreover, a wide variety of transportations change human's daily life, people dont rely on their own two legs anymore and their body qualities are not good as before. Due to the rapid development of medical science and technology, many germs lethality enhanced a lot than before. Maybe one day, the pace of development of science and technology fail to keep pace with the virus variation speed. Perhaps one day the human will die from a great plague. In our science and technology, there are always pros and cons. We can do is to safeguard human health and protect earth's environment using these advanced technology fully. Although technology has many disadvantages, I still advocate it.

The topic of my speech today is economic globalization and English. As we all know, English is the most widely used language in the world nowadays, and the role of English is even more important in the context of economic globalization. At present, China is actively opening up to the outside world, so we teenagers should try hard to learn English. If you are not good at English , you may fail in GaoKao and lose access to good university. If you are not good at English, it may be hard to find a good job, because with the trend of economic globalization, even the attendants of guangzhou railway station are required to speak Engliah. If you are not good at English， you can hardly communicate with foreigners， and lose the way to enjoy the colorful world. See how important English is！
There is a saying on the Internet: learn maths ，Physics and Chemistry well , walk around the world without fear. Now I think it should add to English.
Finally, in the trend of economic globalization，we should learn Chinese and English well at the same time，using English to Communicate with foreigners and to solve problems. Only in this way can we adapt to the rapidly growing society.
