We have ranked cultural consumption level of 10provinces according to'The survey of usage of time in2008' issued by National Statistic Bureau, and then compared three indexs which used to measure cultural development level of each province.

The result shows that there is a close but not absolute relation between cultural consumption level and economic development level.

We should,therefore, measure cultural consumption level of each province through considering local culture, consumption habits and other factors of individual province, not just thinking economic index

This document could reflect cultural consumption level of residents in a more persuasive way,because the cultural consumption index is measured by time, the most reliable statistic.
