(XJTLU, China, July 24th) Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Scholarship Committee met on July 17th and approved to award Academic Scholarships to 396 students in recognition of their academic achievements during the 2014/15 academic year.
The University offers Progression Scholarships and Retention of Entry Scholarships to students based on their academic performance in the previous academic year. The Progression Scholarship is further categorised into two categories 1) University Academic Excellence Award and University Academic Achievement Award.
Students in the top 5% of the programme cohort receive a University Academic Excellence Award of 10,000 RMB and students in the top 5.1% to 10% of the programme cohort receive a University Academic Achievement Award of 5,000 RMB. In both cases, students must also have achieved an overall average mark of 65%. . The recipients of the Entry Scholarships in 2013/14 can retain their scholarship if they continue to rank in the top 25% of the programme cohort in 2013/14.
XJTLU’s Registry Office is pleased to announce that this year 196 students are awarded with University Academic Excellence Award, 172 students are awarded the University Academic Achievement Award and 28 students are awarded their Retention of Entry Scholarship.
