Three weeks ago, my brother and I flew from Nashville to NYC and went to see Hedwig three times in a weekend. This morning, he made a solo trip and was the one who got car washed by Hedwig tonight! At the stage door, Darren pulled him to the front to make sure and get a picture with him. Since we already had so many Playbills signed by Darren from our last trip, we thought that he should ask him to sign as Hedwig. That Playbill is amazing. This week, I painted a bit from “Origin of Love” on a small canvas and my brother took that for him to write on tonight as well. Darren has done an incredible job as Hedwig and this show has given my brother a place to be happy just being himself and I’m so thankful for that.
