Rani was felicitated for her support to the cause through ‘Mardaani’, where she played a daredevil officer of the Mumbai Crime Branch unit, who uncovers the roots of child trafficking to rescue a teenage girl.
She came to the event wearing an outfit by Sabyasachi.
The charity dinner was also attended by Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi.
