Worlds Selection Camp is a few days away, beginning on October 6 at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville, Texas. The camp will include 13 women who will be vying for seven spots on the 2015 World Championship team. Kyla Ross has decided not to attend the selection camp, and USAG released this statement from senior vice president of women’s gymnastics Rhonda Faehn: “Kyla and her coaches have let us know that she will not be attending the selection camp. We respect and support Kyla’s decision. Kyla continues to be a tremendous asset to the U.S. Women’s National Team and her dedication, talent and accomplishments have contributed to the USA’s success on the international stage.” Madison Desch was also included on the original 15-woman Worlds Training Squad, and is not listed on the current Worlds Selection Camp roster.
