Thought tried to shake off Pain,
思索摆脱疼痛，
While Pain was getting entangled with it.
疼痛纠缠思索。
Pushing and pulling,
一推一扯，
They all fell down on their backs,
仰面朝天，
And beat their brains out.
头破血流。
Pain confided in Cigatette.
疼痛向烟倾诉，
Cigarette rose a tent of Smoke slowly and leisurely,
烟慢条斯理地升起雾的帐篷，
And told the story of life and death inonly five minutes.
只五分钟便讲完了生与死的故事。
Hence Pain calmed down and began to writepoems.
于是疼痛安静下来，开始写诗。
