海盗/狂战士巨弩
巨弩并不属于驯龙世界的官方设定，引入的原因是赋予舰船击杀阿尔法/红死神级别巨龙的能力，仅搭载于海盗的高阶座舰和狂战士的重装战舰上。
形制类似古罗马Ballista或中国的床弩，两者在驯龙世界的1010年左右都已经问世数个世纪，且技术已成熟到1.威力足以用于攻击城墙 2.射程超过1000米 3.具有相当的精度，在400米的距离上精准地狙杀单兵之记录并不鲜见 4.可以经济地量产并具有适当的可靠性和实用性
游戏中设定的巨弩比这两个原型尺寸更大，长宽都在10米上下，发射的弩箭长度也在10米左右；绞盘上弦；使用机械辅助使巨弩易于指向目标和射击；拥有相似的精度和更强的穿甲能力以满足击杀巨龙的需求；仅发射大型弩箭而不具备Ballista发射石头/铁球的能力；射程方面设定为5链/0.5海里/926米，略短于两个原型，但直到最大射程都能保持精度。游戏中的巨弩一般不可在战斗中装填。
