Material Design
As you can see, the app has been updated tothe brand new material design look. This includes the main screen, bill screen,types screen, about screen and so on. By now, almost all of the screen get thenew look. We have add some transform animation to the app, for example, whenyou are typing the bill, when you change the type of the bill, the color of thescreen will be changed in animation. And, in screens mentioned above, we usethe new toolbar compat instead of action bar. In other screen, however, oldaction bars are still in use.
Voice Recognition
Thanks to Baidu Inc., we finally get thevoice recognition functionality. You can now speak your bill rather than typingthem. The app will choose the proper type according to your keywords, that is,the main propose of the sentence. You can add specific keywords to your type inTypes Setting, so the app will choose your type when you speak the keyword.
You may encounter to some errors when usingvoice recognition, here are some of the common errors:
Network unavailable: The app can’t use thenetwork at this point. Make sure the Internet connection is available by refreshingWi-Fi, for example.
Error in starting the client: Unknown errorwhen starting the recognition engine. Probably the recording device isunavailable or being used.
Didn’t catch that. Try again? : Can’trecognize the speaking. Maybe the sound is too short, or too long, or toonoisy. Whatever, try again.
