A：it was mine... i was obsessed with the idea of a one take drone video. i wanted that shot were it flys way above your head
是我的主意。。。我对用那种直升机拍摄有一种执念。我特别想让那个MV用盘旋在头顶的飞机拍摄

A：well as a whole my new record is maybe the deepest yet. i know heartbeat is super 90s pop but overall its really deep album

ships in the night 的背后有着什么样的故事呢？
A：ships took me a year to write... we had that beat and piano part but had to wait for the story till life gave it to me.
我用了整整一年来写这首歌。。。我们很早就有了调子和钢琴的部分，而剩下的时间用来得等待生活慢慢向我叙述故事。

为什么在heartbeat MV的最后没有拍摄到你超炫的舞步呢？还是觉得时机不够成熟？
A：yeah as we did more takes i started busting it out. but that was the take where the dancers looked the best... compromise
是啊，我们拍了好几次我也有跳。但是最终选的那一次是舞者们看起来最棒的一次。。。所以只好做了妥协
15.Q：What inspired the name of the new album? #AskMat
是什么灵感激发了新专辑的名字呢？
A：i wrote a song called JUST KIDS that basically summed up the record. a lot of it was written about growing up.
我写了一首叫做 JUST KIDS的歌，这首歌差不多总结了整张专辑。其中很多歌都是关于成长过程中发生的事
