SBS revealed through a press released on November 4, "The 24th anniversary special, SBS Inkigayo in China has been canceled."
Inkigayo was scheduled to take place at the Universiad Sports Centre in Shenzhen on November 8. However, due to circumstances, the concert was canceled on November 4.
On the unavoidable cancelation of the event, SBS stated, "The production agency in China, who is in charge of overseeing the concert there, caused a breach in contract with the lack of preparation for the concert."
"We are very apologetic and regretful to all the fans in China who love K-pop."
