Jason, Hercules and Pythagoras will return to Atlantis on BBC One on November 15.
Atlantis, which started filming the second series in Wales back in April, will return to BBC with 13 new episodes.
The first series of Atlantis ended with *spoiler alert* the revelation that Paisphae, played by Sarah Parish, was in fact Jason*s mother.
And series 2 will pick up where it left of with a dramatic shift of power in the kingdom. Sarah Parish*s Pasiphae still desires to reign and her rivalry with step daughter Ariadne (Aiysha Hart) will plunge to new depths. But now with the knowledge Jason (Jack Donnelly) is flesh and blood and his involvement with Ariadne will complicate her plots.
Also returning to the drama are Robert Emms as Pythagoras and Mark Addy as Hercules, plus Aiysha Hart (Ariadne) and Juliet Stevenson (The Oracle) as well new additions Vincent Regan as Dion and Amy Manson as Medea. Guest appearances are to be made by Robert Pugh (Game Of Thrones, The White Queen) and Peter de Jersey (Broadchurch, Holby City) in episode one.
In an interview with Digital Spy last month Jemima Rooper, who plays Medusa, said series 2 of Atlantis will be "more adult" and "darker".
