是过去完成时，once我不知道怎么解释反正可以那样用，貌似楼上说的很有道理你听他的吧。话说这是什么书啊

he lived in rooms which had once belonged to his dead partner.
他住在那个房间，什么样的房间？属于他逝去的小伙伴的房间。
这是一个定语从句
简单句为
he lived in rooms.
the rooms had once belonged to his dead partner.
不难看出这是过去完成时。结构为had done 。once 在这做状语，意为曾经。had sth done 是被动，have you had your hair cut ? （回答你第三行和第四行的问题）还有belong无被动无进行。
