Aretha Franklin Album Coming This Month
A rep for Clive Davis has confirmed to Billboard a new album with Aretha Franklin will be released Sept. 30.
According to a Showbiz 411 report Wednesday the album is nearly finished, with Franklin's vocals done and Babyface and other producers working with Davis to wrap the mixes.
The report continues that Franklin will appear on the Late Show With David Letterman on Sept. 29 to announce the album and will sing the lead single, a cover of Adele’s "Rolling in the Deep."
