SINGAPORE - Local actress Fann Wong gave birth to a baby boy on National Day.
At about 8.40pm on Saturday, minutes after the National Day Parade had ended, the 43-year-old celebrity, who is married to fellow actor Christopher Lee, posted a photo of her newborn on her Instagram account (@fannaiaiwong).
Addressing the baby as Zed in the caption, Wong wrote in Chinese: "Daddy and Mummy cannot express the joy of seeing you in words, welcome to our family, because of you our lives will become fuller."
She added: "Aug 9 is the most gorgeous day for us...wishing everyone a happy National Day."
The post ends months of speculation about the baby*s gender, which Wong and Lee had chosen not to find out. Within an hour it had garnered close to 7,000 likes and more than 300 comments congratulating the couple.
