As a result,teachers are responsible for the future of the nation. Thus, they are respectedby more and more folks. The government spends a bunch of money on education.Parents think highly of teachers as well since they pass on knowledge to theirchildren. In addition, young people appreciate teachers in that they are toldto respect higher authority at early ages. From my perspective, teachers todayreceive more appreciation from the society than they were in the past.
Tobegin with, since children are becoming the foundation of the nation,governments are willing to spend a bunch of money on teacher, causing thesalaries of teacher boost. If the society today doesn’t value teachers as asignificant force to foster a better generation, then why the government wasteso much money on it? It is the teacher that motivates the development of thesociety. There is no reason for the government to discourage such an advance.For example, in accordance with the statistic offered by WTO, World TeacherOrganization, the data proved that in 2010 the government invested 100 billionon education. In 2014, this figure accelerated into 500 billion. And a part ofit is used to provide payment to teachers, including their salary, year-endbonus, and allowance. This means that the government does put a high value onteachers’ work.
Secondly, as parents attach great importance on their children’s study,they might pay attention to the teachers as well. Parents appreciate teachersbecause their children learn a lot from teachers. The knowledge passed on fromteachers can be applied into routine life. Chinese teachers teach students towrite a poem. Then many students learn to deliver a poem to their mother onMother’s Day. What’s more, parents often contact with teachers to know thesituation of their children in school. Thus, they will pay special attention tothe teachers. For example, my brother, a president of English poetry club inhis university, learnt to write poems from his English teacher when he was afreshman. At that time, his English teacher really liked him not only becausehe had a great talent on writing, but also because his parents thought highlyof the teacher as well. Therefore, they always had meals together and built upa strong relationship. Then when my brother became the sophomore, the Englishteacher recommended my brother to be the leader of the English poetry club.After that, the English teacher spent more time teaching my brother aboutwriting. So that’s why my brother and his family all respect the Englishteacher.
Finally, children are educated to show respect to teachers at earlyages. It is considered as the basic manner. No matter what did the teachers do,children are not qualified to accuse them or even distain them. Being a teachermeans to under pressure from students, parents, and headmasters. So how hard itis to become an excellent teacher. Consequently, children aren’t allowed todisrespect teachers. They ought to appreciate what teachers taught them and begrateful. Besides children, the whole society should give the support forteacher since being a teacher is a painstaking occupation.
