Intelligent park lot management system is a common name of modernized parking fee collection and equipment automation management. It is a high-tech mechatronics product which can place the whole park lot to be managed under the unified computer management. The proximity card IC card or ID card is used as a carrier in this system (there are two cards compatible parking lots in latest technology). The system can record the related information of the cardholder and his/her car with intelligent devices and do calculation on the information and transform it into signals distinguishable for human by human-computer interface such as displaying in characters or voice broadcasting. By this way, the purpose of timed charge and vehicle management can be realized. In accordance with the design principle, the intelligent parking lot management system is constituted of 3 parts: information collection and transmission, information processing and human-computer interface and information storage and inquiring.
The vehicle proximity IC card can store all information of the cardholder. It is installed at the cab of each car. Based on the excitation signal from sensillum, it can form a back signal and send it back to the sensillum when the car passing through the inducing fields of sensillum (the distance between sensillum and the car is about 2m). Then the sensillum transmits such signal to the parking lot controller. After the card is verified to be valid by the controller automatically, the brake will open automatically and the digital VCR will begin to recording and take the photo of the entering car. The computer can record the license plate number, name of the driver and in or out information.
Temporary vehicle parking charges function: Temporary vehicle can get a temporary card from the ticketing device when entering and pay regulated fee when it goes out of the parking place. It shall not leave until the fee is verified by the security. When the temporary vehicle entering into the park, the ground induction coil can detect the vehicle and “Welcome, please take card” in Chinese will be displayed on the electronic screen of automatic ticketing device. The driver can push the ticketing button according to the prompt on entrance automatic ticketing device and get an induction IC card from the device. And the card will be read by card reader automatically. When the barrier opens, MP4 NET digital recorder will begin to take photos and the controller will record the time when the vehicle enters into the place. When the temporary vehicle goes out of the parking place, the driver shall take the induction IC card (temporary card) near the inducing fields of exit ticket box. The park controller can detect that this is a temporary card. The exit barrier will not open. The electronic screen of exit ticket box shows “please pay RMB**” in Chinese. The driver shall return the card to the security and pay the fee. The security will give special parking invoice to the driver. After the fee is verified through the computer by the security, the barrier will open and the digital recorder will begin to take photos. These photos will be saved in the rigid disk and the controller will record the time when the vehicle goes out. For temporary vehicle, the fee will be charged according to the times of parking and time length. The fee collection conditions can be set in the management software by users.
