In an interview with the Sunday Star Times, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Sean Marks says he isn’t sure whether he’ll be back on the bench for the 2014-15 season.

The NBA season ended nearly three weeks ago with the silver and black defeating the two-time defending champion Miami Heat in the NBA Finals to capture their fifth championship. It was the first on the bench for the 38-year old, who won a title with the Spurs as a player in 2005.

”Marks spent the 2013-14 season as the Spurs’ Director of Basketball Operations and general manager of their D-League affiliate Austin Toros. When both Brett Brown and Mike Budenholzer left San Antonio for head coaching positions, Marks took a spot on the San Antonio bench next to head coach Gregg Popovich and assistants Ime Udoka and Jim Boylen.
