According to the article, they started having conversation when they met at an JSF event held in Tokyo in 2011.
Funny thing is that Yuzuru called Miho "Senpai (senior)" in this talk because she has already competed in Vancouver Olympics.
They both are university students, and Yuzuru said that he has been studying mental control and how body reacts to it and been busy with school assignments.
Yuzuru said soon after he became an university student, he felt old and was tired. (Please don't say that, you are still young! (cheerleader1) )
They both like hip-hop dancing although Yuzuru does modern dancing (or ballet?), too.
They were surprised at each other when they found out that they used the same dialect "いづい"(izui) even though they were from different area of Japan. (Yuzuru is from Tohoku and Miho is from Hokkaido)
"izui" is a Japanese dialect in Tohoku and Hokkaido area and means "uncomfortable", "tight" or "disharmony", which I didn't know until I read this article today.(I'm from Kanto area)
I was surprised that Yuzuru used this word "izui" when he talked to Orser, and Orser mostly thought that Yuzuru was saying "easy". (lol) How funny!!
