一、Active in setting up the United Nations
Britain was active in setting up the United Nations and, in recognition of its continuing importance to world politics it was awarded a seat on the UN Security Council, along with the other recognized “great powers” of the Soviet Union, the United States, China and France. But its era of the “Great Powers” and the age of imperialism were already over.
The astounding fact behind the politics in Korea is an amusement only for the warmongers. The 38th parallel has always been a testing ground for USA backed Pacific Rim puppet governments to fathom the reactions of their policies in this area of the world by its communist counterparts. Undoubtedly, the pretext for the war in Iraq was that America had set itself a nuclear disarmament programme by wanting to remove many smaller country states from having the nuclear deterrent capability. Yet again, this nuclear proliferation programme was originally spurned on by the bad diplomacy in East West relations even during a period of détente in the west. During the democratic years of administration the idea of nuclear proliferation had been openly supported in part by the American people as an offset from Israel having at that time gained hold of the technology to stockpile its own nuclear arsenal. The softly approach at the time was probably an indecisive step in a vague attempt to diffuse the situation in the Middle East. With reticent elucidation, the seeds of this fair play game manifested itself into very hostile quarters, with the Islamic community venting its anger throughout all quadrants of the world. Such activities ranged from anti-Chinese rioting in Indonesia to that of the bombing of the American Embassy in Africa. However, the American war cycle now seems focussed very heavily upon a removal of countries with weapons of mass destruction capability. This plays heavily on previous communist countries such as China, and Russia who have both become to some extent independent and socialist. Although North Korea is still staunchly communist with its old order, it is now a unique model of communism to be found nowhere else in the world. The targeted geographical area is to be South East Asia as it has been at peace for far too long since Vietnam. If North Korea now takes steps to provoke a war with America, the resulting strategy would be most devastating. It would be like in the earlier war where the bigger nations have to turn around to think of its own security with American hostility advancing into its main security defences. Normally, the pretext in war is that the conflict starts with some hostility –this is either a head of state is assassinated in his duty of office by a foreign power or that some form of hostile act is enacted upon another nation. To this end at the side of the negotiation table, it would not be certain whether a clause to open up ones country for American control would be a pretext to an act of war. The hard line tone from Pyong Yang at present does suggest this would not be the case. For many Chinese people around the world, the pretext for war would suggest that the world would have to shut down. In Europe with its recently ran labour equalisation programme for members of the European community, it would be an ideal time to launch new security and political policies and practices. This would at least put to rest the social programme some Swedish economists had planned for them in the hope they can see some resemblance of the capitalist market still in progress. In many ways, I am sure their countries sovereignty comes first in their years long struggle for revolution and with the bloody wars it has fought internally and with its neighbours. This is the land they stand on at home belong to them, and not some American military policemen patrolling its part of Guang Dong taking flight of fancy to anything with a skirt on. The truth of the matter would be if another war were to start in Korea, many Chinese overseas would have their properties confiscated and be put into detention centres where they would probably be tortured. Thus any involvement and commitment by China would have to have the total resolution that it has been provoked into war without any option open to them. Otherwise, its people remain resolvedly in peace in the land they live.背景信息
