I tend to think that governments and companies shouldn’t share their scientific discoveries or something like that with others.
Actually, there are some merit with sharing them. There is no doubt that doing like this could speed scientific technology increasing. For instance, if some scientists are trying to explain a phenomenon, but they haven’t enough money to make an experiment, and in the same time, a company has done and recorded it for another purpose. These scientists’ problem would be easy to rid with information sharing, putting their experiment record on the internet. However I don’t agree that can be a reason to require every discovery should be shared
