Liv Tyler’s Gorgeous Sofa + the Scoop on Her New Book on Etiquette

I’d like to take a moment away from our regularly scheduled holiday programming to discuss actress Liv Tyler’s fabulous sofa! I spotted this picture on Instagram and immediately thought to myself: “TO DIE FOR!” I am in the process of designing a custom sofa for my place and thought I had settled on a style but after seeing Liv’s sofa – with its fabulous bullion fringe – I may have to rethink my direction! Generally when you add bullion fringe to upholstery the resulting look is very traditional but when paired with a clean-lined, angular silhouette like this one – it can feel totally modern. LOVE LOVE LOVE! (We could also talk about her fab gallery wall but that’s a conversation for another day!)

Tyler recently penned a book with her grandmother (how cute, right?) who is a notable expert on etiquette. Titled,Modern Manners: Tools to Take You to the Top, the book serves as a guide to etiquette do’s and don’ts for today’s young professionals. It’s a great gift idea for the holiday season!
