Michelle Trachtenberg graces the cover ofRegard magazine‘s October 2013 issue, available online now.
Here is what the 28-year-old Killing Kennedyactress had to share with the mag:
On what drew her to the film: “I was very intrigued that Marina, who is still alive, was a little-known person in the famous JFK story. Having a Russian background, I also was interested in the challenge of bringing that authentic accent/Russian-speaking part of her character to the screen. She’s a complex, multi-dimensional woman who had no idea that she married a man who would change history. Plus, I’ve always been a fan of the JFK story and all of the mystery surrounding it.”
On her iconic characters on Buffy andGossip Girl: “I’m sure people still hold onto those characters, but to me, that just says I’ve made a solid impression, I’ve done my job and I’m grateful for their support. However, I’m an actress, and the definition of being an actress to me is being a mysterious chameleon. Before Gossip Girl, people didn’t see me as the evil villain type due to previous projects.”
