Maestro’s 5th Annual Benefit Concert
On Wednesday, December 11 at 7:30pm music education advocates will gather at The Rutledge in Nashville, TN for the 5th Annual Maestro’s Benefit concert in support of music education for Nashville youth. Headlining the concert will be:

Tyler Hayes - Tyler Hayes is a multiple awarding winning professional songwriter who has penned songs for Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Bebe Winans & Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), and Tina Arena to name a few. Her first cut was “If This World”, recorded by Jaci Velasquez, a contemporary Christian artist. The song was #1 on the CCM charts for over 14 weeks, earning Tyler membership into the ASCAP #1 club.
Annie Bosko - Ann Bosko is a true triple-threat and one of country music’s hidden talents, poised to break out with her electric stage presence, singular voice, and ageless songs of rollicking romance.
Chantae Cann - Chantae Cann’s music blends the exploratory sounds of JAZZ with the feel good vibes of SOUL which makes for a mixture that is quite delicious. It is her heart’s desire to simply inspire, uplift and encourage the lives of others through music.
Colour of London - The band is recognized as a top emerging artist in music and entertainment with two singles “Shine Out” and “Back to Me” on iTunes and several other streaming services.

This benefit concert is the brainchild of Nashville music phenom Melvin “Maestro” Lightford who is a graduate of Nashville School of the arts, and holds a degree in music education from Belmont University. Maestro is an outspoken proponent of music education and through his company Lightworks Muzik, founded the annual benefit concert in 2009 as a means to bring the Nashville music community together in support of music education. Proceeds from tickets sales will go towards the continued work of the W.O. Smith Music School (www.wosmith.org), which provides first-class music instruction to children from low-income families for the nominal cost of $0.50 per lesson.
