A peek at Joo Won's grand opening performance yesterday (brought to you by our dear Korean friend sdee. I am posting on her behalf)
The Grand opening performance was I hear "perfect." It was filled with VIP's, politicians, actors, Producers, Directors...and at the end, they couldn't help but to give him (them) a standing ovation.
The detailed reviews from fans are not yet out as they were soooo tired after the performance that they said they will write tomorrow, which is today but it's too early now. I promise I will write and translate as soon as I see it.
From brief reviews by the fans who's seen JW's preview as well and seeing the opening performance, they said today, JW was just awesome. His singing was even more powerful than during the preview (said his breathing and singing was even more stable) and his acting I mean, it was great to begin with. And his look, was just too cute, too handsome. They heard many non-fan of JW who were leaving commenting how good JW's performance was. Which is always gives us JW pride. ^^ brings out fangirl out of you and me. haha!!! the were saying how he's getting better with each performance and they can't wait to see the performance towards the end of the Musical...he would be even better.

I've been waiting for the review of the fans who were at the Grand Opening Performance to summarize them all. Instead of translating them all, I will summarize in one summary and just translate the important or interesting parts.
Again, the Grand Opening Performance of JooWon was successful. Even with many VIP's as audience, his acting, singing, performance etc. were all perfect. Singing was just perfect and clean with his voice gotten better (I think he was not in his top shape with voice during his preview as he was fighting illness...) They said his voice was more powerful than during the preview, and it was booming. Even his dialogue voice was echoing on stage. His performance was passionate, he was drenched with sweats even in 1st half and had to change shirt for the 2nd half. Back of his hair was also drenched with sweat. The feeling at the end of the performance was 'he cannot do any better than this, can he?'
朱元的首演是很成功的。即使观众里有很多VIP，他的演技、演唱、表演等都是完美的。歌声是完美和清澈的因为他的声音变得更好了（我想在预演时他的声音不是在最佳状态因为他那时在生病…）她们说他的声音比预演时更有力，甚至他对话时在台上都有回音。他的表演充满激情，演出到一半时他就已经浑身是汗所以要换一件衣服。最后的感想是“他不能做得比这更好了吧，他能吗？”

If you want to see his facial expression and acting, 1-2nd row is recommended. The feet is cut off and you cannot see the dead body of Sam but you can see his emotion, expression, passion, up close. Funny story is one person brought binocular from 2nd row...kkkk...
Most of all, the reaction of the audience was great. They reacted to funny lines, clapped hard in between, especially the last number JooWon sang for the 1st Act. Again, powerful voice, emotional, passionate, and the thunderous clap followed afterwards.

One thing during the preview was all JooWon fans were taking photos or filming during the curtain call so the cheer for JooWon was not that loud. He received less cheer than Ode Mae, actor Choi...which they said was bit sad. Sooo DC fans are asking each other who are attending in the future to stop filming anymore as there are enough good photos of him of curtain calls but rather focus on cheering for him properly. They were at one point trying to brainstorm a way to cheer for him at the same time taking his photo... and the pre-recorded claps and even playing a castanet with mouth came out hahaha!!! But resolved to try to focusing on genuine cheer and clap with standing ovation unless you can take the photos professionally... that is.
But for the Grand Opening, everyone was already on their feet for the curtain call and cheered loudly for JooWon as well.
For VIP, even the writer of Musical Ghost and/or the producer from the England also came and I think they were introduced during the curtain call.
Other VIP's were politicians 정몽준 (Jung Mong Joon) 김을동 (Kim Eul Dong)Other known actors the came were 손숙 (Son Sook), 이휘향 (李辉香), 김을동(Kim Eul Dong) 윤정희(Yoon Jung Hee), 신구옹(Shin Goo Eung), 박민영(Park Min Young)... they think Park Min Young came but not 100% sure.
在预演的时候因为饭们都在拍照和录影所以朱元谢幕时的欢呼声不是很大，比一些其他演员要小声，韩饭因为这样觉得有点难过。所以DC的饭们就说好了以后不拍照因为她们已经有足够多的谢幕照片而更应该专注于为他欢呼。她们曾经有想过有什麽方法可以同时拍照和欢呼鼓掌，预录掌声和用嘴打响板都出来了哈哈。不过最后还是决心专注于真正的欢呼和鼓掌。。。
关於VIP，Ghost音乐剧的作者和制作人都从英国来看了。
还有政客和演员
演员里只认识金乙东、尹晶喜和朴敏英，但朴敏英不是100%肯定去了
