First of all, I want to apologize for not being available to chat with you all last Monday.
There have been a lot of changes in my life in the last few weeks.
I finally sold my interest in the coffee bar because I got a great offer and because I did not have time to care about it the way I should, etc. Two weeks ago, Friday the 9th, I threw my last Big Party there. It was a private party just for friends and regular customers. I was surprised at how many people came by to wish me good luck and spend the last day at the coffee bar with me.
It was great and very touching.
Last week I had to prepare everything for the new owners. So I was very busy with my staff, cleaning and fixing things, as well as taking a lot of personal things home. So, for now, I am very happy that I have all of that done and can concentrate on my work.
Tuesday, the 13th, I was in Prague for a casting call. one of my friends in Prague has a modeling agency and she told me that she had a client who was very interested in meeting me. Can you believe? I've never been on a casting call before and I've been in the business for 10 years :-)) ! But this time I was in Prague anyway, to fix some paperwork for my trip to the Bahamas, so I decided to go. Why not? It's better to try than to sit at home watching TV and hope :-) !
It was a big casting for a big lingerie company and I was a bit surprised because there were some very big names from the Czech modeling business there. I met a lot of people from Czech Miss and a lot of well-known models. You know me: I never trust myself and I thought I did not have a good chance to win this contract, but I did :-)) ! My modeling agency told me that I won and it's 100% sure now. So I am sorry that I will not be available to check my e-mails this week, and I will not be available to chat next Monday :-(( because I will be in Prague to shoot the campaign. I will work for them for 3 or 4 days and then I will be home, I think, on the 29th :-) . That's the good news. The bad news is that I will have only two days off before I fly to Los Angeles, like I told you about. I will leave town Oct. 2nd and won't be back until Oct. 17th, so I'm sorry, boys, that I won't be available to chat until then :-(.
And now, about my house :-)) . Ohhhh... I'm finishing :-))) ! one more month, I think, and then I will be able to move all my stuff :-).
I am so happy and I must take some pictures of how it is looking. I was surprised because it is looking so much better than before. I was a little afraid at first, but finally, it is looking very nice :-) .
