Finally, I'm back. I arrived a little bit earlier than scheduled because I received messages that lots of things were wrong with my house. I hired a building inspector and he sent me messages that there were a lot of problems.
This summer is horrible here, for about a month, it did nothing but rain :-((( . Things just got a little better the last three days.
My building contractor make bad isolation of my three balconies, and because he did not weather-proof the sites,
water got into the house and my new walls and plaster began to have mold :-(((.
So, when I got back, I couldn't believe my eyes!
I had a meeting with my contractor and the building inspector, and the building inspector told me to take everything on the balconies out and start all over.
I don't know what I can do now, because it is so hard to work with idiots :-((, and it makes me so tired.
My house is still unfinished and I was hoping it would be done in two months. I can hire a new contractor, but then things won't be done for another two months after that. That would be bad for me because if some shit happens, the new contractor will blame the old contractor and the old contractor will blame the new one.
I am so angry because I want to move as soon as possible :-(. I'm so tired of talking about problems with my house... and so sorry if I bore you with these problems, too.
Now, something more positive :-) . This weekend is my birthday and I cannot wait to go celebrate :-) . Thanks to everybody who sent me presents. I really want to thank you a lot for that and that you did not forget me.
When I got back I had meetings with two people from my business. one is photographer Pierre from Belgium and the other is Giles from London. I did a shoot with Pierre last year in Belgium and he wants to print a book of erotic photography. He was visiting the Czech Republic just for fun and probably to visit some of his model friends.
He came to visit me at the Glamour Coffee Bar and we talked about his next project. His idea is to make special pictures for his book, based on the ideas of the models; for example, some kind of dream or special place.
So, I would like to bring him to some of my favorite places for shootings. Right now, I know exactly where I will bring him. I hope he will be happy with this.
Giles was visiting the Czech Republic because he had lots of business meetings there. He is not a photographer, but a broker. He sells pictures to different magazines lile Maxim or FHM, and he puts together everything about the shootings, too. As I told you before, he is such a nice person and I really like him. Thursday I took him to dinner. A friend found a new restaurant with a very nice view, so I was happy I could show him some special places... and the kitchen was very excellent, too.
We had a long conversation about our business and what we could prepare. Finally, he showed me some of the pictures that I took in London a few months ago for FHM. The pictures are still not public and they are still working on them, but I love them. They look so fabulous! I think that the people from FHM will really love them.
In two weeks he will come back again, so I will see him soon.
In the middle of August, I will go to San Tropez, so I cannot wait! I received an offer from C. Bennet production. He is doing some very, very nice videos. They are soft videos and I have seen some of his work, and it looks really great, so I cannot wait to work with him.
For the same company, I will arrange all of their big shootings here in the Czech Republic. It will probably be in the middle of September. Right now, I'm just waiting on D-day, but I'm already starting to look for some great nude models, and I did contact two big modeling agencies. Right now, I have about 4 girls lined up who are interested, but I'm still looking for more girls. It will be a big production, and they want about 6 or 7 models on the shoot. So, I have to find 3 drivers and some people who will help with all the equipment, and, most importantly, I have to find some castle near Prague, where it is possible to shoot nude scenes. Then I have to arrange for hotels, etc.
At the end of August, I will go back to Germany, shooting for the Orion catalog. I cannot believe how much they like me. I get almost all of the covers... and they work with some of the biggest models from the Czech Republic, like Sylvia S. and K. Cole, and I still get most of their covers, and that's great, of course.
Ohhh... and I forgot to tell you the best news about my schedule. In November, I will visit the Bahamas. I will go there to meet with David and all his group for another photography workshop. I will stay there about 10 days and I'm so happy because I have never been there before, and working with David and his professional group is so easy!
