作者描述We left KNP through Crocodile Bridge Gate. When we got to the bridge a lioness was on our side of the bridge on the left and her cubs on the other side on the right bank. They started to swim across the river to our side when they were almost across she jumped up and ran across onto the bridge a CROCODILE was bearing down on the cubs.She snarled at him as can be seen in the photo and managed to keep him at bay for a little while. The Crocodile then swam under the bridge bearing down on the cubs. By this time one of the cubs had turned back and the other was ALMOST at the bank. The Lioness jumped into the water but the Croc got the cub. The Lioness tried to jump onto the Croc as he disappeared under the water with the cub. She got out the water and looked over to see where they had gone to no avail. She did walked through the water to the other side where the second cub had swam and got out of the water. Both disappeared into the reeds and we didn't see what happened thereafter. We do know that the second cub did make it back to the other side and got out of the water. WHAT a way to end our wonderful 22 nights in KNP.

这是母狮子发现河里有鳄鱼，露出尖牙准备驱赶

此时鳄鱼正在迅速的冲向小狮子

小狮子发现了鳄鱼准备回游已经太晚了不可能了

母狮子迅速的冲向鳄鱼和孩子的地方，准备拯救自己的孩子。

此时的鳄鱼已经咬住了小狮子消失在水里

孩子母亲知道为时已晚了，孩子不可能在出现了，她走向了河的对岸

她上了河对岸，因为另一个孩子幸运的回游到岸边消失在芦苇丛里，她也消失在芦苇丛里
