How about the popular games recently? Battlefield? Call-duty series? American games.
How about the filmsand TV plays? Twilight? HP? The Big Bang Theory? Each of them have a "madein USA" tag.
Hollywood was built in California, USA.
Cambridge and Oxford are in the UK; Yale and Harvard are in USA.
English is widely used not only in academic field,
it is all-pervasive in today's society, for everyday life, common sense, even for entertainment.
If you ignore the role of English,
it means that you,ignore this changing, and developing society.
Anyway, go back and deal with your homework guys, it will be far easier and benefitial compared with staying on your microblog and Qzone then criticize the education system.
