Q: What kind of TV did you watch growing up? 小时候看什么电视节目
ES: Not so much growing up but when I started acting it was Our Friends in the North was amazing.
Q: What was it like having the Middleton family come on set? 关于凯特王妃家人去片场
JF: I can see from Ed's face that he wasn't there that day. And unfortunately neither was I !
Q: If you could go back in the past and be a character in Downton who would you be? 如果能穿越 想成为那个角色
JF: I love Mr Molesley but i wouldn't want to be him as everything goes wrong for him. Having him as a neighbor would be nice!
Q: How has your previous experience working in soaps helped you whilst working on Downton? 演肥皂剧对于参演唐顿的帮助
JF: I was lucky to have such amazing training at stage school and experience on Coronation Street. It was invaluable.
Q: How do you get in character for the show? 如何为角色做准备
ES: I went up to Yorkshire & soaked up the atmosphere which was great. I also spent time with Alastair Bruce and talking about my character.
JF: When I first got the role, I watched documentaries on the time & researched. It was important to remember how the time was for women.

JF: Ed you go first! *laughs*
JF: It was in the Servant's Hall I think. When someone new comes in it's quite exciting, and hopefully we're all welcoming!
Q: What is like working with Maggie Smith? 对于与Maggie Smith共戏的感受
ES: I love it. I'm quite privileged because I spent time down and upstairs. So I get to watch her and she's amazing to watch.
JF: I don't get many scenes with Maggie. But when we do scenes all together it's really special to watch her work.
Q: Who on set are you in awe of and who is the most fun to work with? 片场里最敬畏谁？谁最有趣的？
JF: Rob James-Collier and Brendan Coyle are great fun. Who I'm in awe of? Everybody, you learn things from everybody.
