6.1 Provide ethic training for employees:
For the employees to know the ethical rules in the organization, a code of ethics should be set up. In addition, during the selection process, managers should check the applicants’ moral development and their knowledge towards ethical issues that each selected employee is guaranteed to have a rich ethical knowledge. This would strengthen the work place ethics in the organization.
6.2 Allocate more power to employees:
Allocating challenging opportunities at a lower level can build a sense of responsibility for employees. Employees will feel that they are significant in the organization, and thus they will be more willing to work hard. Encouraging employees to participate in the business can help develop leaders, as well as create a culture of leadership that will lead to the success of the company.
6.3 Implement ethic programs in the company:
Organization can organize ethical issues internally, employees or leaders who are being unethical will be given a chance to tell the truth. A responsible and ethical leader should not hide the information and be willing to admit the failure. Leaders and employees are always required to tell the truth. In addition, manager can implement a system of reward and punishment which strictly enforce the guidelines of ethical behavior in the workplace.
6.5 Performance appraisal for employees:
The working environment in the business sector is very intensive nowadays. Employees occasionally are required to work overtime which can increase stress. In order to make employees feel more relaxed in the workplace, performance appraisal can be implemented. Whenever they meet the company’s objectives, as well as working in ethical business practice, the annual report of employees might include a performance progress that reflect how the employee meet the company’s standard.
