‘Royal Pains’ season 5, episode 11 preview: Hank’s intervention; Jenna Elfman’s turn
After last night’s “Royal Pains” season 5 episode, it is pretty easy to draw one conclusion about Hank Lawson: The guy’s in trouble. His addition to prescription medication has been finally outed, and this is a major problem when it comes to his future. If he continues to treat patients while medicated, there are all sorts of risks that come with that … especially if he hands out his own narcotics to patients in tough situations.
On next week’s episode, one person in particular is going to try and run an intervention on Hank, mostly because she is one of the few with the guts to try: Divya. She will try to stop him from doing anything that could further hurt himself, but there is one problem that comes with that: We’ve learned already that he is not exactly someone who prides himself on listening to what other people say, and he’s stubborn as an ox. Therefore, this is probably going to take some time.
