I have a day off today, so I planed to find a park and read some books.
I took a long time by the bus, and finally arrived the Haidian park. As i thought it’s a very big and quiet park. What a perfect place for reading.
Because I have never been here before so it truly brought me a lot of surprises. Before entered the park, I could already hear the cry of the cicadas .
I walked along on the path which around a large grassy field. There were so many Hibiscus flowers and Hosta plantaginea flowers on my side.
Then I saw the central lake that planted so many waterlilies. fist time in my life i met Victoria regias . Allegedly the leaf of Victoria regia could be sat on by a little child . I wonder but I think I will never try this.
I walked on those bridges over the lake, I saw some beautiful kinds of flowers, like Monochoria korsakowii flowers,Lythrum salicaria flowers and Typha orientalis Presls.
Now I am in a wooden pavilion and there is a large field of rice in front of me. I am not able to say a word, because it brings me homesick immediately .
I lie on the bench for a while, hear cicadas singing, the sky is very clear and wind rises. Sometimes I really want to sleep like this for a thousand years..
Now it‘s about half past three p.m. For avoiding the sunshine, i moved to a empty open stage. I sat on the bleachers, looked at two magpies were playing on the field. Still cicadas singing and I suddenly smiled.
