Former FC Halifax, Hyde and Curzon Ashton midfielder, Chris Worsley, has signed for FC United in a move that further strengthens Karl Marginson’s squad with two months to go until the start of the new season. Worsley, 25, rejected other offers to sign for FC, showing his desire to play for the Reds next season.
Commenting on the signing, manager Karl Marginson said: "Chris is an excellent signing whose experience will add to our squad and make a real difference as we prepare for another assault on the Northern Premier League title. I’m especially pleased to see his desire to sign for the club and it’s that attitude that I know supporters want to see from players who pull on the red shirt at FC."
