Jake Shears, the group’s frontman, is engaged to be married to longtime boyfriend Chris, reportedly a Yale University art student. Chris’ last name has not been divulged thus far.
The pair’s wedding is set for spring in fab New York City and is set to be technicolor — with brightly colored daffodils and tulips, striped wedding suits, flock of white doves and confetti from the beginning to the end of the ceremony. Talk about pomp, glitz and glamor!
Guests may include Kylie, David Walliams (of “Little Britain” fame), Matt Lucas and Geri Halliwell (of “Spice Girls” fame, of course).
Recently, the Scissor Sisters’ frontman shelled out moolah for his and Chris’ love nest in New York City — a large apartment in Tribeca, Manhattan, New York.
“They are both blissfully happy with their apartment and the wedding is the next thing. They’re ready to show everyone they’re together,” a source has told the Sunday Mirror.
