Kieron Richardson reveals his twin babies are already Hollyoaks fansWe'd expect nothing less, really.
Even as a new dad, Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson is making sure to keep up with all the action and drama unfolding on the Channel 4 soap – and he's managed to recruit the cutest of viewing partners to join him too.
The actor — who plays Ste Hay on the soap — and his husband Carl Hyland welcomed the arrival of twins through surrogacy earlier this year, and earlier this week he posted an adorable picture of his newborn children watching an episode of Hollyoaks along with him.
"My little babies watching @hollyoaksofficial before bed," he captioned the snap, following it up with the only appropriate hashtag for a photo like this one: "#cute."
Keiron shared back in May that he and his husband had become fathers, revealing that Chase Hyland-Richardson and Phoebe Hyland-Richardson had been born earlier in the month.
Their arrival coincided with a quieter time on screen for Ste, as he's been in prison awaiting trial for Amy Barnes's murder. That gave Kieron more time at home but still allowed him to film his jail scenes when they were required for the storyline.
But it's a good thing that little Chase and Phoebe have already become fans of their dad's work, as next month Kieron will return to the centre of Hollyoaks as the soap prepares to air his murder trial scenes.
The trial will see the return of Amy's parents Mike and Kathy Barnes as we wait to see whether their daughter's suspected killer is sent down or not.
Ste's week-long trial will begin on Monday, September 4, the character having spent the last few months on remand.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
