Good morning, everyone. Today the topic of my speech is about my favorite singer, a woman whose voice always makes me feel so absorbed ---Tanya Chua from Singapore.
As a musician with a career of 16 years, Tanya's still not a familiar face for most of you, but it doesn't matter. I believe that from now on, you'll realize her, listen to her songs or even be a loyal supporter for Tanya just like me.
It hasn't been a long time for me since I knew her, maybe 4 years till now. What I will never forget is that when I first heard her Beautiful Love, I was deeply moved. But to be honest, Tanya's music cannot seize your ears at once, but as time goes on, it shines gradually. Then I made all of her songs into my list and became one of her loyal fans. I love her so.
During the busy high-school hours, hearing her songs became my enjoyable hobby. I even built a pure friendship somehow, it's the graduate year and a strange mate joined my dormitory, he's too shy to talk with us when I played Tanya's songs, one day he came and asked me whether I could tell him more things about the special singer, he was touched by Tanya, too.
What surprised me was that, on my latest birthday, he sent me an album with Tanya's autograph on, which took his great effort to get. The very only autographed album I've ever got, I put it on the cabinet to honor the unforgettable memory and friendship.
There's always someone in your adolescent dream who you will be crazy for, isn't it? Many of us see our idiot as Snow white and Prince Charming, so do I. Although Tanya is not the prettiest one, but she cannot be replaced by anyone. She accompanied me through the tough years, she made me find myself in her songs. I shall never forget my every moment with her ,because she does make me a better man.
