What are the pros and cons of filming at an actual castle?
Bradley The pros are that the world is kind of created for you and your imagination doesn't have to work as hard to create the world you're in. The cons are the castle that we film in has to remain open to the public beccause it's a site of French heritage. So when we film, you get a lot of people who come and watch us film. The majority is very well behaved but even so it's very distracting because they have cameras and they make noise and you can see that they are very attentive to what you are doing. You need to feel like you can mistakes and try things out without being recorded and you can't trust people who are watching so I've not enjoyed having them visiting the castle. I find that a real problem with how we film over there. But when we first filmed there, there was no one at the castle at all and now, they have tons of people. But for what the castle gives us, the look of the show, you can point the camera at any direction and you have a great shot, it's worth kind of doing that and having the people there.
