【strike back】【学英语私家贴】【反击吧】

他们都说看动作片是学不到英语的，因为通篇都是GoGoGo!!!Cover me!!!
试过老友记，不行，每集信息量太大，6个人不停地说啊说啊
试过急诊室的故事，不行，词汇太专业，而且天天生死离别，看的心里难受
试过越狱，也不行，这种推理片看的时候牵心挂肚，知道最终结果后就懒得再看一遍了。
所以最后自我总结，关键是学习的片子能让我保持兴趣，词汇量少就少点吧，慢慢来，总比完全不学好一些。
昨晚闲极无聊，终于拿strike back S2E1下手了。有人也许会问，为什么不是第一季？我只能说，个人兴趣，看两个男人的兄弟情义比看两个男人暗算猜疑会让我感觉好一点。

在总部的对话
如果你是业务员，需要反驳老板，可以说：All due respect, when was the last time you stepped out from behind a desk?
如果你是一个小头目，可以抱怨说：We cannot afford any more mistakes. I cannot afford any more mistakes.
相同的句式，不同的人称代词作主语，反映出不同的意境。如果不想明确表示，就可以采用被动句式。比如说，我们学校就曾经发信给学生：In some abstracts of MPhil/PhD theses, students use 'we' which is deemed not appropriate as the thesis is the work of the student alone. I understand that in some instances, especially in lab-based research, there is collective effort in carrying out a bigger research project. To avoid complications, a passive voice is preferred.
