Host : Hi, right now I’m at Eisawan Spa, Erawan Hyatt hotel, Bangkok. I’m sitting next to Korean hottest superstar in Thailand whose hugely popular Drama My Girl just recently shown in Ch. 7.
H : I’m with Dong Wook-sshi, Annyong Hasaeyo.
LDW : Annyong Hasaeyo
H : Welcome to Thailand once again. I’d like to ask Mr. Dong Wook that, like most Thais or Westerners who usually have nicknames, do you have nickname that your intimate friends & family call?
LDW : At home, my family and my close friends would call me Wooka Wooka (Ooka)
H : This is your second visit to Thailand. What do you like about Thailand?
LDW : I like everything. The weather is nice, not cold (I think he’s being very nice here, we all know that the weather was killing him). Thai fans give me the warmest welcome everywhere I go. The food is very delicious. I like it a lot.
H : Yesterday when you just arrived at the airport, there were so many fans waiting to see you, the airport almost collapsed. How do you feel about that?
LDW : I’m very glad to have seen lots of fans there, but I feel a bit regretful because, when I came out, I’ve got so little time to greet them. I was rushed to the van, so I didn’t really have a chance to talk to them.
H : What is your schedule for this trip?
LDW : I’m scheduled to meet with fans, a couple of interviews with press. This morning I did a photoshoot for a magazine and an interview. In the evening, I’ll have meet & greet with fans and modeling on a catwalk for Hi International Fashion Show 2007.
H : Your schedule is so packed. Between modeling and acting which one do you prefer?
LDW : Acting!! (you can here his answer clearly and firmly here)
H : Acting! very clearly (laughing) (To the interpretator) Can you inform him that many of Thai actresses also like him a lot. We’ve got messages from many of Thai actresses who are his fans.
Actress #1 : For Lee Dong Wook. At first, I’ve heard of Drama My Girl, people’ve been saying that the girl was cute, but I was like fall for the charm of LDW instead. He is so charming and very cute. (As if speaking to LDW) My name is Cheer Tikumphorn, I like you Dong Wook Oppa (laughing)
Actress #2 : He looks reserved but very cute. He can play a vast range of roles. In My Girl, there were some scenes where he had this silly expression. It was very funny but He was also very cute at every camera angle. I like him. I hope he keeps doing new projects for his fans and visits Thailand often.
Actress #3 : He’s another of my favourite Korean stars. Anyone who have watched My Girl would surely like him.
Actress #4 : I think he’s very sweet & smart
Actress #5 : He’s the favorite of Thai fans and many of Thai actresses. I’ll keep supporting your future works.
