PARIS: Zinedine Zidane scored two goals Sunday in an indoor soccer gala match featuring former France World Cup stars and players from Paris Saint-Germain.
Zidane, who retired after France lost to Italy in last year's World Cup final, scored the first and last goals on passes from Youri Djorkaeff in a 5-5 draw with PSG.
Former France defender Bixente Lizarazu, who scored twice, Didier Deschamps and Marcel Desailly also played for the France team, while Pauleta and Jerome Rothen were among PSG's scorers at the Bercy arena.
Zidane also played in a charity match on March 19 in his home city of Marseille against a team led by AC Milan forward Ronaldo. Both are ambassadors for the United Nations Development Program.
In the World Cup final, Zidane head-butted Italy defender Marco Materazzi in injury time and was red-carded. Italy then won on penalty kicks.
