One of the most common questions I get is what camera I use to take my pictures. I use a Nikon D40 DSLR that my dad passed down to me when he upgraded to a bigger camera.
I’m don’t know much about photography, I just like to take pictures haha;; It’s considered an entry-level DSLR, so it’s easy to use and pretty darn fool-proof. The photos come out great most the time, but I always process them on PS anyways. There’s an automatic setting where the camera does the focusing for you, but there’s a manual option also. Of course, it’s larger and heavier than point-and-shoots, but it’s considered pretty small among other DSLRs. I believe it retails at around $400-600 online.
I’ve never used any other DSLRs before, so I can’t compare mine to others. But I would definitely recommend this model if anyone is looking to invest in a nice camera!
