Fluke insists He's Still Single.
Surprisingly and quickly getting the title 'hottie' from girls, Fluke Pachara Thummol, Thai singer with breathtakingly sweet-voice who was 2nd runner-up of The Star 5(2009), has also won Top Awards 2009 for Best Male Newcomer from his great acting in Thai drama 'Prung Nee Kaw Rak Ter'.
How do you feel about the award given?
"Well, I feel proud. It's as if all the hardship and tiredness I got from this work are gone. This award is like a big thank you to all people who has helped me. When they are happy, I am too."
Do you feel pressure, winning this award? Like, if you had to act in your second drama?
"Umm.. Not really. Personally I'm standing right here because of singing. I firstly got famous because of it. So acting is like the other work I have a chance to do. I would have to study acting if I got another drama. My first one, as you know, got a very good feedback. So I feel a bit afraid. What if my next drama disappoints my fans? Something like that. "
Has Mr. Boy offered you a part in another drama yet?
"No, he hasn't. But we talked after I've won the award. He told me that he was watching that moment as well and said congrats. He told me to remember that this award was from my determination and not to think that I'm already an expert."
Please update what you're doing currently.
"At this time my main work is singing. Because my latest single is about to be released soon. But recently I've got ill so I have to take a rest and not to work too hard . And sometimes I go to fitness."
About your new single, when is it released?
"Maybe in the middle of February"
What's its genre?
"Let me keep it a secret for now" (Smiles)
Speaking of drama, is there any character you'd like to act?
"No. Well I just never think of it before. I usually focus on singing, like what music genre I want to sing or what technique I want to try."
Then please tell us what kind of music you'd like.
"My first two songs are both slow. And when I was competing in The Star 5, there were some dance songs I had to perform. So I think my fans would like it if I release one. It's like they see me in another look. I want to try."
Is dance song actually your thing?
"Actually I like singing slow songs. But I think with dance song, I can dance. That might help me to get slim. (Laughs) I've gained weight recently. And I look terribly fat when I'm on TV. And I haven't taken fitness things seriously because I got ill. Besides I eat a lot."
So you have lots of free time, any plan to somewhere?
"I prefer staying at home. And right now I want to save up some money. So I have no plan. I'll travel only when I got singing job out of Bangkok and spend a day or so relaxing there"
