Ardent fans go wild over singer Victor Wong performs at mall

FANS of Taiwanese-based Malaysian singer Victor Wong went wild withexcitement when the pop idol was in Ipoh to promote his latest Mandarinalbum Wu Ke Jiu Yao (Mayday).
They cheered and asked for more as Victor danced and sang at the KintaCity Shopping Centre. He was on a promotional tour.
Victor, who sang three songs from the album, was also approached by hisfans for autographs. Many fans took the oppor- tunity to shake handswith him when he mingled with the crowd during the performance.
The crowd shouted “Victor, we love you!” when he thanked them for their support.
Chan Yin Yin, a diehard fan from Malacca, said she would follow the singer’s promotio-nal tour closely.
“It has become a habit for me to go everywhere he goes in order to showmy support for him,” said the 21-year- old fan.
Chai Ling, 27, from Singapore, said she hoped Victor's new album would be a hit.
“I will support him wherever he goes and I hope he will continue to write fantastic songs,” she said.
The fans were also seen posing for photographs with the singer.
