I think Landau's book would be of use to you. I don't think any physicists need to refer to Fluid Mechanics textbooks for Engineers. You may read the Chinese version of Landau's book, but Chinese version is too old.
Plus, "Shockwave" is always an interesting topic for physicists. You may check
