'Corpus Christi Carol'(基督圣体)是一首中世纪英国圣歌,最早记载于1504年的一部手稿,原作者不可考.歌中流血的骑士指基督,因为他像骑士一样与罪孽战斗,又因人类罪行而受刑流血;荒芜的果园是基督受刑的墓地;悬挂着紫色与黑天鹅绒的墓室,是基督圣体被安放的墓穴.在骑士身边的少女是玛利亚;猎鹰代表那些杀死基督的人,也象征基督死后得到新生与自由.
