我没有爱过这世界，它对我也一样；
我没有阿谀过它腐臭的呼吸，也不曾
忍从地屈膝，膜拜它的各种偶像；
我没有在脸上堆着笑，更没有高声
叫嚷着，崇拜一种回音；纷纭的世人
不能把我看作他们一伙；我站在人群中
却不属于他们；也没有把头脑放进
那并非而又算作他们的思想的尸衣中，
一齐列队行进，因此才被压抑而致温顺。
我没有爱过这世界，它对我也一样——
但是，尽管彼此敌视，让我们方方便便
分手吧；虽然我自己不曾看到，在这世上
我相信或许有不骗人的希望，真实的语言，
也许还有些美德，它们的确怀有仁心，
并不给失败的人安排陷阱；我还这样想：
当人们伤心的时候，有些人真的在伤心，

我还认为：善不只是说话，幸福并不只是梦想。
