Cyclone Software Introduction
Most CAD and modeling programs construct geometry from only a few sample vertices and estimate the rest with design assumptions. Design or modeling packages aid the user in creating entirely novel models from a conceptual model or idea.Cycloneprovides a high-performance environment for manipulating point cloud data captured by High Definition Surveying (HDS™) systems.Cycloneenables the user to accurately visualize, navigate, measure, and model 3D objects and scenes.
Cyclone Guide
The Workflows subsections contain material specifically for the ScanStation 2 and HDS6000. In general they are applicable to other scanners as follows:
ScanStation 2 Workflows are generally applicable to the ScanStation C5/C10, ScanStation and HDS3000.
HDS6000 Workflows are generally applicable to the HDS7000, HDS6200, HDS6100, HDS4600, HDS4500, and HDS4400.
Commands:The commands are arranged alphabetically and grouped by initial letter or number.
Administration:Administration is divided into sections.
Information applicable tospecificScanners
If there isnoindication that the information in a topic is applicable only to specific scanners, then it is applicable toallscanners. However, if the information in a topic is applicableonlyto some of the scanners, this is indicated in the topic title or sometimes in the topic text. It also may be indicated in the name of the book or folder that contains the topic (within the Table of Contents).
Some scanners are very similar to another scanner, e.g., the HDS2400 is very similar to the HDS2500. In such cases, there are no specific topics for those scanners. Instead, you should use the information for another scanner as follows:
For the HDS2400, use the HDS2500 information unless specifically noted.
For the HDS4400, use the HDS4500 information unless specifically noted.
