I’m very happy that China has a chance to hold the Olympic Games. It is a successful symbol. When our city won this chance, I was so excited .Because it means China has the ability to host Olympic Games
We have long history and brilliant culture. Many famous people are Chinese. Including: Kong zi 、Meng Zi and so on. People from other countries called China helping etiquette. And our food is the most popular one in the world. Roast duck is the specialty of china. Now lots of people start studying Chinese in the world.
Now we have a lot of plans of the Olympic Games. But we haven’t carried them out yet. We want our city to be different from what it is like now. But what can we do? We should show our merit. For example: We need to improve our public morals. In 2008, every one should be moral, this reflects on everybody's civilization etiquette and educational level.
Now let me tell you a true story. My mother’s company organized a trip three years ago. On the way some people want to go to the toilet. So do I. when I go into the toilet, I saw lots of maggots. I felt sick. But now the toilets become clean. And some of them needn’t to scour it. In 2008, when you are in the toilet you may see the sky and grass.
We are getting ready for the Olympic Games in many ways .In our city some people always destroy the public property now. But in 2008, no one can do it. Some people do not protect the environment now, but in 2008, Beijing will become a garden city. Sky will be blue. Grass will cover the land. Birds will sing a song in the tree. The traffic is bad in Beijing now but in 2008, the new road system permits the free flow of traffic at all times.. If we want to make all the above become true, we should try our best. I want to be a Volunteer .One reason is that I want to help other people. The other reason is I hope I can get more social experience.
