【Danny Gokey】TS歌迷-Taylor Swift tour Newark NJ

So yesterday I got T-party! Here's my story
I drove up all the way from Ohio just to see Taylor Swift. The day after I got to New Jersey, basically my cousin and I went out shopping for a poster board at Michael's. Our seats were in section A on the floor. We actually didn't know at that time that we weren't allowed to have posters on the floor so once we spent hours on this sign and tons of money on it (atleast 30 bucks), we were devastated to find out we wouldn't even be able to take it in. However, turns out my other cousin was going and she didn't get floor seats, so she would eventually hold the sign for the concert.

*On a side note, I saw Mr. Swift twice. I stood up automatically and pointed and said Mr. Swift, but he must have hard hearing or something because he didn't hear me.. so i just sat down.. awk

I knew our chances of T-Party was really really slim. Me and my cousin tried cracking open glow sticks all over ourselves (safe, right?) but it didn't work....... So we had a couple of glow sticks and whatnot, they didn't even glow that well. I kept looking at my cousin during the concert to see if she was holding the sign and to be honest, it looked like she was sitting down. At that point, I was just like.. whatever.. Songs passed and passed. It wasn't really on my mind the whole time. It only crossed it when people in black walked by.

It was during Dear John when it happened. I had no idea if anyone had gotten picked or not. All I know is that Dear John was my favorite song of Taylor at that moment and I was belting every single word and so was my cousin. We were waving the glow sticks and honestly just having a really really good time. These two girls walked right by us and looked at us, but then just kept walking. I figured they were walking around the floor so I texted my cousin quickly and said hold up the sign high, two t-party ladies are walking around the floor and might see the sign from your section (she was in section 17, row 3). Two minutes later, right after the fireworks from Dear John, they come back and they point to us. Keep in my mind, we weren't decked in glow sticks. I had maybe three on each wrist, and two in my hand (they didn't flash or anything).

I was wearing a summer dress, not some crazy outfit. I was beltinggg though, and we were dancing. I didn't sit down once the whole concert. 【【【【【The minute Danny Gokey came out I was on my feet. 】】】】】Anyways, they approached us and asked how many were in our group. I replied, three but we're not all sitting together, my cousin is sitting in another section holding a poster board because we couldn't find seats together.

She then said okay, have you ever met taylor swift? And we were like no! Right when she asked that I knew we got T-party. I honestly couldn't believe it. I started crying a little. But then I stopped cause I didn't want to mess up my makeup and then I was just squeeling. The people next to us were really really nice about it. They were like congrats! and they were laughing and smiling with us. It was honestly the best feeling in the world. I can't believe it happened. They told us to promise to keep dancing and singing and that is exactly what we did.

So when the concert was over, we gathered to section 21 and we waited to get instructions. The rules were one photo per group, one camera per group, no filming/video cameras, one autograph per person, and no pictures of the room anymore once Taylor enters. She lead us backstage into the T-party room. The first thing they did was offer us custom tparty bracelets. They're blue and they say T Party Taylor Swift (craaaaaaazy right?). Anyways, this is what the room looked like:

I was really nervous so it's kinda the same view but different shots because I didn't feel like walking around. In the room they had pizza and soda and all that. On the walls there were pictures and stuff including some of abigail, the band, and selena gomez. At the entrance, they had all of Tay's dresses and stuff so that was really cool to see as well. The girl then told us to start chanting "Taylor! Taylor! Taylor", and yeah, she came in. It was crazy. She looked so perfect; not a flaw. Absoluetly gorgeous.

She smelled so good and she talked to us for about five minutes. It was crazy. I could barely keep my balance and I couldn't talk for a couple seconds. She asked what part of Ohio I was from and she thanked us for coming to the show. I knew she got that a lot because of the other stories I have read but whatever, it seemed to please her. I love her so much and I can't believe I got the oppurtunity to meet her!

I also met Grant and I love him too! He's so nice. We talked about guitars and he sprayed some Wonderstruck on our arms and it smells SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. GO BUY IT WHEN IT COMES OUT. He gave us guitar picks and we got a picture with him. Last but not least, we met Caitlin. She was crazy nice and cool. She talked about playing the fiddle in front of her idol yesterday which was the fiddle player for the Dixie Chicks who came out to the show. She was really cool

All in all, for those who have hopes of T-Party, don't have high expectations and you won't get dissapointed. I must say, I sometimes get cocky and over confident but with this- I don't believe it happened. To believe it happened I have to look at the picture over and over and over again. I didn't go over the top with glow sticks, I just screamed the lyrics like a maniac. So for those who think that people who don't dress up don't get picked- LIES. This is your example. Have a good time and your chances will increase. I didn't meet her mom, I didn't beg anybody, I just simply danced and sang my heart out from the minute the concert started. It was a great night. I can't wait till I see her again!
